I just tried McClelland's Single Malt Speyside Scotch Whiskey (750 ml @ $21) last night as I saluted Patriot Day 2010 in the USA. It brought back memories of the scotch I used to drink. Unlike those blends, this is light, smooth, and reasonably priced. Another reasonably priced beverage I tried lately is Budweiser Select 55 Beer. It is light and refreshing after a long hot day. The only problem is that the can looks a lot like a Diet Coke so I keep it out in the garage fridge where the kids don't see it.
Sunday Mornings - "Bloody Mary" There are a thousand fancy recommendations on how to make one but it is extremely easy - pour a shot of cheap vodka over ice and then stir in 4 shots of Mr & Mrs T's Blood Mary Mix (use the basic stuff not the Premium or Spicy).
